Visual FX Artist

Job Description:

As a Visual FX Artist, you will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning artwork and animations that bring our game worlds to life. If you have a passion for art and animation and a desire to contribute to creating unforgettable gaming experiences, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Create high-quality artwork and animations for characters, environments, and special effects using industry-standard software and tools.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand creative requirements and ensure alignment with the game’s visual style and aesthetic.
3. Develop and maintain a consistent visual style across all game assets, ensuring coherence and unity in the game’s art direction.
4. Implement animations into game engines and iterate based on feedback to enhance visual appeal and gameplay.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in art and animation techniques to improve artwork quality and animation fluidity.
6. Provide support and guidance to junior artists and animators, sharing knowledge and expertise to help them grow and develop their skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Art, Animation, or related field.
2. Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Visual FX Artist in the gaming industry or related field.
3. Proficiency in industry-standard art and animation software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.
4. Experience with third-party plugins via After Effects.
5. Strong understanding of art and animation principles, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
6. Excellent artistic skills, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in creating visually stunning artwork and animations.
7. Strong communication skills,
8. Passion for gaming and a desire to contribute to creating immersive gaming experiences.
9. Fluency in the English language is a must.
